Veggies for Kids: Moms Speak of Success
Today three Moms wrote of (surprising!) success getting vegetables into their little ones:

- Meg of Too Many Chefs made kid- and parent-friendly (if a tad messy for toddlers) zucchini muffins
- Alysha from The Savory Notebook first had luck with a canned vegetable soup and decided to brave a vegetable soup with pesto
- Sweetnicks' Nick gobbled up a Rachael Ray spinach salad

I found your link to my site through Technorati. What a great idea! I'll definitely report back with more veggie successes with my kids. Two of the latest veggies I've had success with is onions and mushrooms. They both gobbled up the onion soup I made recently (also listed on the site) and have been gobbling the mushroom sautes I've made recently to accompany steak. My next venture - a mushroom soup, probably a bisque. Glad I found your site....
ReplyDeleteThanks for including the Spinach Salad link -- I meant to e-mail it to you. Good thing one of us is paying attention! ;)
